Rifd Industry Group, via its Rifd Copper Company, utilizes the vast and abundant mineral resources in Saudi Arabia, as well as the value chain in metallurgical industries, to develop and execute business ventures in that metallurgical field.
Incentives
Saudi Arabia has identified “Mineral and Metal Processing” as one of the five major industrial clusters to drive the development and the diversification of Saudi Arabia’s economy and meet the KSA 2030 Vision and the National Industrial Strategy.
Rifd Industry Group via its Rifd Copper Company takes the opportunity of government incentives and support, as well as the boom in construction activities, to invest in various metal processing factories, either from raw materials to intermediate products (B2B) or from semi-finished material to final parts (B2C).

Our Projects
Copper Mining Project
This project focuses on utilizing the natural resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially the copper metals, as there are many potential areas in the west of Saudi Arabia (Arabian Shield) where the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has identified many potential copper resources in that area.
We have applied for 10 exploration licesnses and it is under the approval of the ministy of industru and mineral resources.
The strategic aim is to concentrate the copper resources from 0.5%-2% to 20%-30% concentration and tranport the matertial to our potrnatial copper smelting and refning project.
Copper Smelting & Refining Project
The project will be the first if its kind in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will produce pure copper (Cathode 'A') with purity of 99.99%.
The production capacity will be designed and built into two phases (Phase-1 (250,000 tons per year) and Phase-2 (250,000 tons per year) of pure copper.
The products are extensively used in many downstream industries in KSA and the GCC region, especially for the electrical cable industry.
The project land has been allocated by the Industrial Land Authority (Royal Commission) in Ras Alkhair Industrial City, KSA, with a total area of 1.3 million m2.
